July 1 - Canada Day
Canada Day marks the establishment of Canada as a Dominion on July 1, 1867. It is Canada’s main patriotic holiday and often referred to as “Canada’s birthday.”
Our neighbors to the north have a lot to envy: polite people, walkable cities, the best fiber network in the world, the highest number of home computers and the widest public access to cable networks. It was the first country in the world to connect all schools and libraries to the Internet. Let’s not forget Canadian beer or hockey, eh?
Happy Canada Day!
